Lots of discussion at the 793 planning meetings on looking at how school districts/BOCES can help to support and provide services to their local public libraries. It might be good to assess what each district is doing with their public library and/or municipality.
- Fulton – provides equipment through Smart Schools Bond Act; relationship is informal
- Pulaski – informal but many partnership projects, public librarian sits on many district committees
- Central Square – small scale, we need to do something
- Phoenix – long standing relationship, equipment and tech support
- Hannibal – very small operation, library is also a day care, haven’t figured it out yet
