What are the gaps we have in our current offering to drive relevance and value of the IT4IT standard in the market?

As part of the larger 2018 Strategic Planning Process, the Business Value of IT4IT work group has been asked to submit the top focal points for our work group of value to the marketplace to drive utility and relevance and value of IT4IT for ?

This workgroup will focus on the 2018 Strategic Planning Process and the most important focal points for developing missing guidance to support adoption of the IT4IT standard

Given this current body of knowledge available in the marketplace (IT4IT and other frameworks/concepts), what enterprise needs are still left unmet? Based on that market need gap analysis, which gaps are most important for IT4IT fill?

  1. (30 mins) Current State (IT4IT): What value do we currently provide to the marketplace?
    (Sukumar has provided a summary assessment of the IT4IT body of knowledge)
  2. (30 mins) Gap Analysis (market wide): What is the market still lacking for the era of managing a digital enterprise?
    (Mark S will host a discussion to gather inputs from participants)
  3. (40 mins) Ambitions for IT4IT: What value could/should IT4IT and The Open Group provide?
    (Using these inputs, target in on our ambitions for what IT4IT can realistically provide value and how.)
