Testing Procedure

/ Sign-Up:
1) Complete the School Test Site registration form: (
and fax to NCCER Accreditation.
2) Read the Procedure Manual (covers testing process as well as a primer on test security procedures to advise on protection from a test security breach.) (
3) Sign-off Certificate of Understanding
4) fax to NCCER Accreditation Department.
A professional testing entity (Prov) will provide NCCT tests. Test items are based on the “Contren Learning Series” curriculum (Prentice Hall Publishing). A profile of student proficiency/deficiency will be issued to the school test site upon completion of each test given.

1) When assurances of testing procedures are received by NCCER, the NCCT tests will be made available in whichever format is desired (paper/pencil—30 minute fax back and scoring, or Web-based—scored immediately). See “How do I purchase the NCCT” at:
