(Sl. 1 & 5) / An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 (ten) years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University / National Level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctorate level.
OR
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Professor
(Under Department of Business Administration)
(Sl. 2) /
  1. Ph.D. degree or a Fellowship of IIMs, ICA or ICWA with First Class Master’s degree in Business Management / Administration / other relevant management related discipline.
  2. 10 (ten) years’ experience in Teaching / Industry / Research out of which 5 (five) years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and/or equivalent.
* For candidates from Industry / Profession, First Class Master’s degree in Business Management / Administration / other management related discipline
And
Professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. degree and with 10 (ten) years experience of which at least 5 (five) years should be at a Senior Level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor would also be eligible.

  1. Ph.D. degree with First Class degree at Master’s level in the appropriate branch.
  2. 10 (ten) years’ experience in Teaching / Industry / Research out of which 5 (five) years’ must be at the level of Assistant Professor and/or equivalent.
* For candidates from Industry / Profession, Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. degree and with 10 (ten) tears experience of which at least 5 (five) years should be at a Senior Level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor would also be eligible.

  1. Ph.D. degree or a Fellowship of IIMs, ICA or ICWA with First Class Master’s degree in Business Management / Administration / other relevant management related discipline.

  1. Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the university system shall also posses at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level.
  2. Five years of experience of teaching and/or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.

  1. Ph.D. degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Technology / Information Technology any branch of Science / Engineering / Management with First Class Degree at Master’s level in Computer Engineering / Computer Technology.
  2. 3 (three) years’ experience in Teaching / Industry / Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.

Lecturer
(Under the Departments of Cultural Studies, Chemical Sciences, Physics & Sociology)
(Sl. 11, 13, 14 & 15) / Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
*Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the NET for Lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC (Please refer the Note below).
Lecturer
(Computer Science & Engineering)
(Sl. 16) / M. Tech. / ME / Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology.
MCA with very good academic record shall also be considered.

(Sl. 12) / First Class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

(Centre for Disaster Management)
(Sl. 17) / Master’s degree in Engineering / Science with a consistently good academic record having at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade.
Experienced candidates in the field of Disaster Management will be preferred.

NOTE (1):NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post-graduate degree. However, candidates having Ph.D. degree in concerned subject are exempted from NET.NET is not required for theposts at Sl. Nos. 12, 16 & 17.

NOTE (2):Where Class / Division is not awarded at M.E. / M. Tech. / equivalent degree, minimum 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class / Division. In case of Grade Point system, CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks as per AICTE guidelines (Table-E6).

NOTE (3):For all the posts, the required minimum marks at Master’s Degree for SC/ST candidates shall be 50% or equivalent grade.

NOTE (4):Grade B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.

NOTE (5):For the post reserved for PWD, the minimum degree of disability is 40%.

NOTE (6):Those who have applied earlier for the post of Lecturer, Disaster Management, against the Advertisement No. 02/2005 dt. 18.08.2005 need not apply again. However, they may send their updated bio-data, if any.
