Test Plan Details
This document describes the system’s performance, what parameters are to be monitored, how to measure them and what limits are acceptable. It is the customer's responsibility to provide all equipment necessary for verifying the system’s performance, unless prior arrangements have been made with your TÜV Product Service Representative.

ISO 14982 Performance Criteria for Immunity Tests
Immunity to electromagnetic radiation per Clause 6.3.2 and 6.6.2 - The EUT must meet the requirements of Clause 5.2: Disturbance shall not i) affect driver’s direct control of the machine (steering, braking, ground speed, or engine speed), nor ii) generate hazards or mislead others by causing movement of parts or modifications of the state of function.
Immunity to electrostatic discharge per Clause 6.7.2 - At Test Level I, the EUT must meet functional status class A of ISO/TR 10605, annex B.4 - All functions of a device/system perform as designed during and after exposure to disturbance.
Immunity to conducted transients per Clause 6.8.2 - At Test Level I, the EUT must meet functional status class A of ISO 7637-1, annex A.4- All functions of a device/system perform as designed during and after exposure to disturbance.

* The applicability of each waveform is explained in ISO 7637-1 or ISO 7637 -2 subsection 4.6.x (also Table 1 of ISO 14982). When the EUT would never be operating when during a particular transient, ISO 7637-1 Appendix A indicates (in an example) that the manufacturer may eliminate that test. Justification is required to explain why a particular waveform may not be applicable.
** Waveform 1b, Waveform 6 and Waveform 7 are not requirements in Table 1 of ISO 14982, but are found in ISO 7637-1 or ISO 7637-2.
Example: On some sample EUT, Waveform 4 would not be applicable because this transient simulates the system voltage while the engine starter is cranking, but the EUT does not operate while the starter is activated.
