GENERAL CONDITIONS
All Mountain & Moorland and Part-Bred Ponies must be registered with their respective Breed Society. Mountain & Moorland ponies must be shown unplaited but Part Breds may be plaited.
All ponies entered in Ring One must be owned, ridden and shown in-hand by fully paid up members of the Society
All stallions and colts 2 years old or over must hold a Stallion Licence, unless otherwise governed
by their individual Breed Society.
All colts and stallions must be shown with a stallion disk on the bridle. Failing to do so will result in competitors not being allowed to enter the ring.
All ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years old or over. No pony may be shown on a leading rein except where stated.
This show is run under the BHS Code of Practice for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies. (The full code can be downloaded from the BHS Website www.bhs.org.uk).
ALL COMPETITORS must wear correctly fitting BSI approved hats at all times when mounted.
Hard hats must be worn by all competitors taking part in in-hand showing classes
Hard hats conforming to PAS015, EN1384 or ASTM F1163 with chin straps MUST be worn by everyone riding on the showground..
A special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Island Bred pony in all Breed classes and Part Bred classes. Handlers of ponies eligible are to wear a yellow armband.
Neither the landowner nor the organisers can be held responsible for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, to any person, animal or property whilst on the showground.
The Society reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving a reason and to ask any exhibitor behaving in a manner prejudicial to the good name of the Society to leave the showground.
Any objection to be handed to the Secretary in writing within ten minutes of the incident accompanied by a deposit of £5.00 which will be refundable if the objection is sustained.
SPURS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND CLASSES IN RING 1
SPURS MAYBE WORN BY RIDERS 18 YEARS AND OVER IN RING 2.
Please note that classes will not be held up (except at the Judge’s discretion) other than for Championships. If any classes are missed due to clashing the entry fee will be refunded in the form of a voucher which may be used for an entry at a future event. In the event of classes running late, we reserve the right to transfer classes to an unoccupied ring and use an available judge.
If you have already entered a class at the show and wish to enter another class, we will (at our discretion) take an entry on the day which will cost an extra £2 over and above the normal class charge and the entry must be received before 9.45am for the morning classes and before the judge enters the ring for the afternoon classes and this must be paid in cash (exact money please). Please note: late entries will only be accepted for the horse / pony already entered in another class
Sunshine Tour 2018
The Sunshine Tour is an exciting Unaffiliated Championship Series in the South-East featuring dressage, show jumping and showing. The Championship Show will be held at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead.The championship show will run from 13th - 16th September 2018. There’s a wide choice of championship classes to qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won.

Showing: 1st-4th qualify in selected classes of In-hand, Lead Rein, Ridden Showing and Working Hunter/Pony.

TSRShowing Finals- This show is a qualifier for the 2018 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSRRiders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSRIn Hand Finals- The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details athttp://www.theshowingregister.co.uk/

Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers. The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Home Produced Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December 2017. Once a competitor has qualified for the Olympia Grand Final they may continue to compete at any 2nd Round Qualifiers, but they will NOT be eligible to enter the Olympia Qualifying Championships. In this instance the second placed competitor will be eligible for this championship. Once a competitor has qualified for Olympia in the Ridden section they are NOT allowed to qualify in the In Hand section and vice versa.
