Arrival Times

Given the size of our student body, we ask your cooperation in adhering to the schedule listed below.

Please walk if possible as parking is limited.

Please come with your child and remember you may be writing up to eight different checks! Please see “Check-out Form” for detailed information regarding the checks, their purpose, and the location where payment will be made.

Sixth Grade10:30 -12:00

Seventh & Eighth Grade 1:00 - 3:00

Schedules/Questions/Sign-ups – MPR/Lunch Room

Student schedules will be distributed to the student or parents of the student only.

Schedule change request forms will be available for students wishing to make a change to an elective class.

When students pick-up their schedule, they will also receive their Photo Card. The Photo Card is given to the photographer in the back Tile Gym.

IMS Logo Wear

  • Bring a check made out to the IMS PTSA. Sample clothes and order forms will be available at the Logo Wear station.

Community Table (Ski bus, Boys and Girls Club, etc.)

HelpEduc8 school supplies pick-up (no supply orders can be made on Fee & Photo day)

“Check-Out” – Main Gym-- All IMS Checks will be collected at one station. The tables will be set up in the Main Gym. There will be a main Check-out Form that will guide your experience. Checks for PTSA items including Logowear and Smoothies will be collected at those specific tables.

ASB

  • ASB Card (required) - $25.00

Yearbook

  • Yearbook (optional) - $35.00 Yearbook PLUS Bonus Package (optional) - $45.00*Bonus Package consists of student’s name embossed on the yearbook cover and extra autograph pages.

Lunch Account (Bank-O-Meal)

  • Bring a check made out to the Mercer Island School District. The average daily cost of a student lunch is $3.75.

iPad Insurance

  • 8th grade students only- $25.00

Please do not bring cash. Your canceled check will be your receipt. Remember to bring any completed on-line forms with you to Photo/Schedule Day.

Picture Information – Carpeted Gym/Tile Gym

All students must be photographed for school purposes regardless of purchase.

Price and packet information will be mailed to you from Dorian prior to Photo/Fee day. Look for it in the mail. Many families confuse this packet for junk mail.

Please bring the completed envelope and a check made payable to Dorian on August 22nd.

Dress appropriately since this picture will be used for the yearbook, ASB card, and picture packet. (DRESS CODE applies!)

Families will enter the carpeted gym, pay for the pictures, and then enter the tile gym in order for students’ to be photographed.
