Rules for Submission

Date and Time:

Saturday, April 8, 2017

Sale & Reception Hours: 5:30 – 9:00 pm

Place:Dorman Hall, Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich

Types of Art Requested: Each artist is invited to submit the following.

- Up to four pieces of wall art suitable and ready for hanging. Due to space limitations, the finished size of wall art is limited to 20" x 28".

- Up to three pieces of three-dimensional art such as large ceramics or sculptures.

- Collections of up to ten smaller items, such as jewelry or small ceramic pieces, with appropriate displays.

- Up to ten pieces of unframed bin work in its own bin or container.

- Services – such as a photo shoot, art lessons, musical entertainment, etc. – should have a typed description of your service, mounted on an 8” x 10” hard backing along with any visuals.

Terms:

All work will be offered for sale at a price set by the artist. Note: this is NOT an auction. The past few years, selling prices ranged from $6 (for very small jewelry/pottery items) to $250 (for framed wall art). All work is submitted at the owner’s risk. Each piece must be marked with ‘Donor Form B’ provided with this application. Neither IMADA nor the Ascension Memorial Church will be responsible for any lost or damaged work. The Jury Panel reserves the right to refuse any submissions.

Fees:All work will be submitted with the understanding that 50% of the sale price for each will be paid to IMADA and 50% will be paid to the participating artist, unless the artist has indicated a 100% donation to IMADA which is a charitable, 501 (c) (3) organization. Artist receives payment approximately three weeks after the event.

How to Apply:

Apply online at or complete the enclosed ‘Donor Form A’ for each submission and mail/email it to Jo-Ann Duncan, c/o IMADA, PO Box 449, Ipswich 01938 or by March 1st. Apply early to secure your space!

Delivery of Work:

Dorman Hall at Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich

Friday, April 7, 2017 between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm

Saturday, April 8, 2017 between 9:00 am and 11:00 am

Retrieval of Unsold Work:

Retrieve your unsold work immediately following the reception at Dorman Hall. If you are not present you will be contacted on Sunday, April 9, 2017 and can arrange to pick up your work at a designated location in Ipswich.
