Standing Business:

Approval of Agenda. Agenda for November 9, 2015 was approved (Friedlein, Burns).

Approval of Minutes. Minutes for June 1, 2015 approved with roll call amendment. Minutes for October 19, 2015 and October 26, 2015 stand approved as read.

Statements from the Audience:

Diana Kelly.From 1pm-4pm on the 9th and 10th, volunteers will be decorating the float for the Veteran’s Day Parade. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to walk in the parade on Wednesday and it is requested that “I Am UCC” shirts are worn. Mark Hamel volunteered to be Riverhawk.

Brian Prawitz. Owner of BP Media and PIO of UCCStrong Committee. Prawitz came in to address questions that students may have, offer new information from source, and offer point of contact. UCCStrong has no administrative fees. Donations can be directing to the foundation page of the website. $25,000 was allocated to the Salvation Army to distribute throughout the community to help assist with unmet needs. Bring bills and Student ID to apply for assistance. UCCStrong is using boundaries set by federal authorities in distribution of funding.

History Committee. Meets every other Friday (next meeting November 20th) in Wayne Crooch Hall 10 from 12pm-3pm.Working with different members of community to create UCC Story Project in hopes of “filling in gaps” in memorialization.
