IPS A/c Opening (List of documentation required)

Documentation Requirements (For Individuals)

  • Duly Filled IPS A/c Opening Form
  • CNIC duly verified from NADRA or attested copy of passport
  • Copy of NTN Certificate (Optional)
  • Zakat Exemption Certificate (Optional)

Documentation Requirements (For Sole Proprietorship)

  • Duly Filled IPS A/c Opening Form
  • Application to open an account on the official letter head of the sole proprietorship
  • Copy of NTN Certificate
  • List of officials authorized signatories who will operate the account and their specimen signatures along with copies of their attested/verified CNICs.
  • All documents on Company’s/Firm’s Letterhead affixed by their stamp

Documentation Requirements (For Partnership)

  • Duly Filled IPS A/c Opening Form signed by all partners
  • Attested copies of CNICsfor all partners
  • Attested copy of partnership deed duly signed by all partners
  • NTN Certificate
  • Attested copy of registration certificate with registrar of firms. Only registered partnership will be entertained.
  • List of Authorized Signatories along with their specimen signatures & CNICs (Duly verified by NADRA)
  • All documents on Company’s/Firm’s Letterhead affixed by their stamp

Documentation Requirements (For Clubs, Societies and Associations)

Certified copies of:

  • Certificates of registration
  • By-laws/ rules & regulations
  • Resolution of the governing body/ executive committee for opening of IPS (Investor Portfolio Securities) account authorizing the person(s) to operate the account and attested copy o the identity card of authorized persons
  • An undertaking signed by all the authorized persons on behalf of the institution mentioning that when any change takes place in the persons authorized to operate on the account the banker will be informed immediately
  • NTN Certificate
  • Tax Exemption Certificate (if any)

Documentation Requirements (For Employee Funds/Trusts)

  • Duly Filled IPS A/c Opening Form
  • Attested / Certified Copy of Fund formation Document/Trust Deed
  • List of Authorized Trustees/Signatories along with their specimen signatures & CNICs (Duly verified by NADRA)
  • Trust Resolution authorizing the TRUST/FUND to open IPS (Investor Portfolio Securities) Account
  • Copy of NTN Certificate or
  • Copy of valid Tax Exemption Certificate
  • Attested copy of certificate of registration

Documentation Requirements (For Corporate/ Joint stock companies)

  • Duly Filled IPS A/c Opening Form
  • Memorandum of Association / Articles of Association
  • List of Authorized Signatories along with their specimen signatures & CNICs (Duly verified by NADRA)
  • Copy of NTN Certificate
  • Board Resolution authorizing the Corporate to IPS (Investor Portfolio Securities) Account
  • All documents on Company’s/Firm’s Letterhead affixed by their stamp
