Job Role
IP Australia is seeking a suitably experienced AWS SysOps Administrator to join a high performing project team.
What the daily tasks are
· Installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting of primarily cloud solutions with some on premises technical integration
· Provide technical support for the system to both business and IT people as required
· Technical review and recommendation of new support systems and services
· Support of system monitoring / alerting services
Work setup
Canberra IP Australia office 5 days 8 hours per day .
Essential skills and experience
Background in sysops (*nix administration, virtualisation, application and infrastructure log analytics)

Experience working with monitoring platforms (ideally Nagios, Splunk or CloudWatch)

Familiarity with typical Java deployment environments (e.g. configuration of tomcat or similar, nginx, spring boot)

Infracoding (bash/shell scripting and a higher level language like python or Java)

Experience with Configuration Management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
