Zagreb, 29-30 April 2014

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the Meeting of the Southeast European region of industriAll European Trade Union on Restructuring Processes and Industrial Relations that will take place in Zagreb on 29 - 30 April 2014.

In light of the current economic situation in South East Europe, we have decided to bring together national experts with the aim of assessing and discussing economic and social trends in South East Europe, together with the strategies employed by the multinational companies investing/located in those countries.

Draft Programme

Please find the draft programme enclosed to this letter.

To prepare this meeting we would like to kindly ask the participants to prepare a country report on restructuring processes in the various industriAll Europe sectors including a presentation of information and consultation structures and outcomes (see programme).

In the afternoon of the first day we will ask one representative per country to present the report. Please make sure to coordinate this report with your colleagues from the other trade unions in your country!

Practical information

The meeting will start on Tuesday, 29 April 2014 at 11:00 and will end on Wednesday, 30 April 2014 at 13:00. Participants are expected to arrive on 29 April in the morning.

Interpretation

Interpretation will be offered in HR, RO, BG and EN.

Accommodation

Please note that we have already made a block booking in the Hotel Dubrovnik. Please be so kind to indicate whether you need accommodation. Please take note that industriAll Europe will only cover for the accommodation of the night of 29-30 April 2014. Should you need, for exceptional reasons, an additional night we kindly ask you to contact Corinna Zierold or Teuta Krilic. No-shows will not be covered and will be at your own charge. Please inform us at least 10 days before the meeting of any cancellation.

Participation / Reimbursement

The meeting is being held within the framework of a European project funded by the European Commission. The travel and accommodation costs of the participants will be covered in accordance with the reimbursement rules mentioned in the attached document and in accordance with the following key of seats:

*additional representatives from Croatia that do not need reimbursements for travel and accommodation costs are kindly invited to join the meeting (up to 5 participants).

Please note that in order to be reimbursed participants will need to fill in the enclosed reimbursement form, their travel invoice, their flight/train ticket as well as the original boarding passes. The required documents can either be handed over on the spot to the industriAll Europe representative present at this event or sent back to the industriAll Europe Secretariat, within the two weeks following the meeting, for the attention of Valérie Fesland.

Please take note of the reimbursement rules mentioned in the attached document.

The participants will have to sign an attendance list on both days (compulsory for reimbursement).

To register for the meeting we kindly ask you to fill in the attached registration form and return it to the industriAll Europe secretariat to and a copy to the International Trade Union Project Zagreb by 27 March 2014 at the latest.
