The Benadir Regional Administration (BRA) through its Dan guud program hereby invites qualified Bidders to submit their proposals for rehabilitation of Administration block (4 offices and 2 toilets), basketball court, prayer room, sports office, 2 offices and 6 toilets in Boon Dheere District Centre, Benadir Regional Administration.

The Terms of Reference of the project, the tendering instructions, the Bill of Quantities (blank), the technical specifications and the designs for the aforementioned can be obtained from the DAN GUUD Program Office at Benadir Regional Administration Office during the working hours from 9:00 AM up to 4:00p.m. (Saturday to Thursday) as soon as the advertisement goes on the newspaper(s) and Hiiraan online.

General Conditions:

a.  All Bids should include the firm’s profile, past performance/experience records on constructions business and other relevant credentials. All bidders must provide detailed proofs of ongoing works and recently completed works with value/year of completion along with up to date list of personnel and equipment you intend to make available for this project

b.  All bidders must provide proof of registration from Benadir Regional Administration (BRA) granting them permit to perform the works and services required in this Project. All bidders are required to conduct ocular inspection of the project site in order to gain good understanding to the project requirements and the surrounding environment of the project site which will have impact on the implementation strategy to be used in the Project.

c.  Bidders must fully comply with all documentary requirements and must submit all documents required in this instruction or any succeeding correspondence after issuance of this instruction. DAN GUUD reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder that fails to comply with this condition.

d.  Bidders must be present in person for the announcement of the bid results; otherwise they will not be included in the bidding process.

e.  Contractors with 2 signed or ongoing contracts in Somalia will not be entitled to participate in a third bidding.

f.  $25 application processing fee in the DAN GUUD Dahabshil account number: MUG:011154 and provide a copy of deposit slip when submitting bid documents.

g.  The bids to be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the DAN GUUD Office at Benadir Regional Administration not later than 23th March 2013 at 15:30hrs or the bidders can be sent the soft copy their bids to this e-mail:

DAN GUUD shall notify the winning Bidder in writing within Five (5) working days of the Bids unfolding.

The DAN GUUD (DG) reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all Bids.
