Invitation forapplicationforthe Children Pastor Position at North Edmonton Alliance Church (NEAC)
The North Edmonton Alliance Church was founded and planted in 1984 by the Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church, initially as a Cantonese-speaking faith community. In 1991 an English congregation was added, followed by a Mandarin congregation in 1997. The Mandarin congregation was transplanted as an independent church in 2008. Over the past 30+ years, we have sent several missionary workers abroad and we also helped in establishing a church in Aruba. Our current English, Cantonese and Children ministry serve a total of close to 300 members and a fair number of seekers. However, our number of children has decreased from 60 to 80 to a dozen in the last 10 to 15 years and we strive to build up more young families and children in the future.
The vision of our church is to see the return of Jesus Christ through making disciples of all nations. We believe that discipling children at their young age isa vital step to build up the church to accomplish this goal.
