Introductions and Content Development

Remember: Your introduction should work like a funnel, gradually developing a clear purpose.

Aladdin, Jafar and Their Terrible Wishes

Every person, no matter how independent or hardworking, has wished for an easy fix to his problems. Those problems may be related to work, relationships or an immediate need in a person’s daily life; however, these seemingly simple solutions rarely work out the way one would have hoped. In the movie Aladdin, the protagonist’s journey clearly demonstrates that a person should always attempt to fix problems in realistic ways because a “3 wishes” type of solution will ultimately cause more problems than it eliminates. Aladdin’s attempt to become a prince causes him to change his personality which creates major problems in his relationship. Similarly, Jafar’s attempt to increase his power causes him to have less power than he began with.
