  • K9 – is an ATF Agent, explosive and accelerant specialist, 2 year old full bred lab
  • Single Purpose Dogs vs Police Dog which are usually dual purpose
  • Flammable Liquids, trained to detect odors at the scence or suspects, clothing, vehicle, etc 20microliters (size of GW nose on a quarter)
  • Her alert is passive, works to the source and then sits

  • Best sample, can be difficult, but we ask the dog to touch the spot with her nose to get the best sample.
  • In a fire, the evidence disappears on the crime scene, through fire, so the K9 can be effective
