JOB ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE RTA ASSISTANT

EU funded Twinning Project “Strengthening Policy and Capacities to Reduce Undeclared Work” (CRO MOONLIGHTING) under the IPA 2012 Programme, Twinning number: HR 12 IB SO 01, is a joint Slovak/German/Croatian project implemented by the following institutions - the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, Federal Ministry of Finance of the German Republic and Regional Development Agency of the Slovak Republic. The Ministry of Labour and Pension System of the Republic of Croatia is the final recipient. The main objective of the project is to reduce the rate of undeclared work in the Republic of Croatia and enhance social awareness of the problem of undeclared work and underground economy through informing the public about the overall implications of undeclared work for social security and its negative effects on principles of solidarity and fairness in application of social security rights.

Resident Twinning Advisor Assistant, Ref. number: RTA ASSISTANT HR 12 IB SO 01

The project is seeking to recruit an Assistant to the Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) assisting the RTA with administrative support of the project. She/he will be employed full time and stationed in Zagreb. Duration of the contract is 18 months. The planned starting date is around 3rd October 2016. Working language of the project is English.

The tasks of the RTA assistant will include:

-  Assisting RTA in organization of experts’ missions, trainings, seminars, workshops, Steering Committee meetings, and other project events

-  Drafting of written materials in relation to organization of the project in Croatian and English

-  Overall management of the office administration, including filing, organizing trainings, expert missions, local travels, general desk office work etc.

-  Organization of meetings in cooperation with Beneficiary Country partners, preparing meeting agenda and taking minutes

-  Developing and maintaining close working contacts and relationships with Beneficiary Country officials involved in each of the activities

-  Assisting in handling of budget accounting

-  Act as a translator and interpreter when needed

-  Drafting and editing minutes of meetings, assisting to the RTA in drafting and editing monthly, quarterly and final project reports and any other relevant documents

-  Arrangement of travel, booking accommodation and organisation of study visit

-  Office management and general correspondence.

Requirements for the candidates:

-  University degree

-  Fluent in Croatian and English

-  Proven practical experience in management of the project’s office administration and organising skills, preferably in other EU/twinning type of projects

-  Practical experience in translation and interpretation

-  Ability to work in multicultural environment

-  Very good communication skills

-  Full computer literacy

-  The RTA Assistant may not have or recently (past six months) have had any contractual relation with the beneficiary administration

-  Previous working experience in the field of employment and social policy is considered as an advantage

-  Knowledge of German/Slovak language is an asset
