Interpreter Services
If we have a patient that is in need of an interpreter and the referring office did not arrange for the interpreter to accompany the patient to Inland Imaging, it is then our responsibility to arrange for an interpreter to be present during the exam.
1. To schedule an interpreter with Language Link call: 1-800-798-5144 select option 2
2. Provide the call center representative with:
§ Our account number 2708
§ Date and Time of Appointment
§ Approximate length of appointment
§ Location of appointment
§ Language requested
§ Name and telephone number of the contact person the appointment is for
3. Once this information is received, the call center representative will supply you with:
§ A job number
o Please record when scheduling
§ Conformation (at a late date) by either phone or fax, of the name of the interpreter.
o Please provide the fax number of the location the exam will be preformed.
§ An interpreter voucher form to be signed after the on site appointment.
o Please provide the fax number of the center where exam will be preformed.
If the patient would like to request a particular interpreter you may ask the call center representative if that person is available. The call center representative will attempt to schedule the requested interpreter. If the requested interpreter is not available the call center representative will schedule an available interpreter. We do not reschedule patients around an interpreter.
The second company is Columbia Language Services at 1 (888) 202 3301 with a similar process.
The third company we can use is Universal Language Service at 1 (888) 462-0500
We no longer contract with Perceba aka Spokane International Translation. We did not come to terms for a 2005 contract. Please use one of the other services.
Interpreter Services for Washington State Medicaid Clients
If the patient is a DSHS patient you will need to contact Special Mobility Services Inc to schedule an interpreter.
