Introduction
- This lesson will teach students about the dangers Internet users face will online and about how to react if they or someone they know are being targeted by a cyber-bully.

- PowerPoint presentation
- Procedures
- Show students a public service announcement concerning cyber-bullying to introduce the topic and discuss.
- Show students a PowerPoint presentation about general statistics, warning signs, and effective and safe ways to react to cyber-bullying through a Google Doc.
- Give students a scenario and have them discuss in groups ways to solve the situation and about how parents, teachers, and administrators should do in the scenario.
- Have students share their ideas with the class and debate about how much legal authority schools have in the situation.
- Have students complete the quizzes on Brain Pop. (
- Assessment
- Assign students a worksheet for homework which entails searching on Stomp Out Bullying ( Have them search a news article or experience story and write a reflection paper.
