10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Demonstration and hands on capture of energy data with collector tools demos and hands on tutorials for attendees

Suzanne Kusik, Civil P.E.
Ms. Suzanne Kusik, P.E., C.B.O., is a California licensed civil engineer and ICC Certified Building Official with over 20 years’ Building & Safety, and Community Development work experience with various Southern California cities and counties. She has extensive experience working with architects, engineers, developers, contractors and homeowners throughout the plan review, permitting and inspection processes. She has participated on various state and local code committees for over 10 years, and has written numerous local code amendments, policies and interpretations. Her strong knowledge of building codes and regulations has made her a recognized code expert among local building inspectors, architects, engineers, city planners and contractors.
Jacqueline L. Patterson, Civil P.E., Vice President, JACOBS
Jackie has received many honors in the industry. As founder of JL Patterson she built the company to over 100 employees. JL Patterson twice won the Bentley Be Inspired award for two separate projects where her company saved their client $millions. Jackie is a recognized expert in the industry in rail engineering. Her company, JL Patterson was acquired by Jacobs, where she now serves as vice president. Jackie has BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering, is a registered professional Civil Engineer and serves as an adjunct professor at USC’s Civil Engineering department.
