RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

General Conditions

1. ESPLORA Festival, Artistic Direction Giacomo Gamba and Laura Mantovi, Organization Direction Irene Gilardoni, is organized by FABBRICA DEL VENTO, VIA MONTE CENGIO, 8 – 25128 BRESCIA – ITALY.

1. Submission of “Esplora Application form” at the Organizer’s adress prior to date set out by the Organizer (2006 edition : 20 june 2006 )is a preliminary condition for participation in Esplora Festival programme.

1. By submitting “Esplora Festival Application form” at the Organizer’s address companies accept the present rules and regulations and undertake to observe them.

1. Artistic Committee qualifies companies for participation in Esplora Programme prior to date set out by the Organizer (2006 edition : 10 july 2006 ). The qualified Company receives the Organizer’s confirmation of its acceptance to participate in the Festival.

The basic Esplora Festival’s aim is to promote the meeting and the exchange between professional Groups of Theatre, Dance-Theatre and Theatre of Objects that having a Laboratory Spirit, develop their work with an innovation research criteria and an aesthetic demand.During the Festival each participating team will give a show plus a workshop related with its work technique.

Within its previous editions Esplora Festival has received Companies and Special Guests from: Austria, Basque Country, Albania, Taiwan, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Usa, Ecuador,

General Conditions

1. Esplora Festival 2006 is direct to professional Theatre’s Groups, Dance Theatre and Objects’s Theatre.

2. The Organizer gives hospitality (board and lodging) to the groups: maximum 6 members for each company.

3. The Companies arrive at the Festival at its own expenses, i.e. the Organizer does not cover any transportation costs (personnel, equipment, elements of the set, and other objects) nor the Company's travelling expenses.

4. The Organizer will pay a remuneration to companies: 200 Euro for Italian’s groups, 400 Euro for European’s groups, 600 Euro for Extra European’s groups.

5. The Companies are obliged to observe all Organizer’s instructions about inscription: Compilation of “application form” sending with a video of the performance (DVD - VSH), to: FABBRICA DEL VENTO, VIA MONTE CENGIO, 8 - 25128 BRESCIA - ITALY.

Received material will not gives back.

6. The Companies are obliged to observe all Organizer’s instructions related to safety of spectators and artists who participate in the Festival.

7. The Organizer can change Festival’s programme whenever necessary for technical or unexspected reasons.

8. The Organizer provides companies with technical assistance as set out in 'Application Card' and directly agreed between the Company and the Organizer..

9. The Groups will be independent about light designer, audio technician, assembly and desassembly. If specified will be available a techical support of Esplora Festival.

The Company assumes all legal responsability and undertakes to settle all claims related to infringement of author’s and related rights resulting from non-observance of the present rules and regulations.
