in the frames of INTERAUTO 2009 International Motor Show
The idea and the concept of the Forum have been approved and supported by Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry, Economic Development Ministry, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The goals of the Forum:
- analysis and assessment of consequences of the economic crisis in the global and Russian automotive industries;
- disclosure of main trends in vehicle production, development of automobile market and formation of the motor vehicle fleet;
- assessment of major strategic results of implementation of the “industrial assembly” policy in domestic automobile manufacturing; the state of affairs in localization of component supplies;
- discussion over efficiency of measures worked up by federal and regional authorities in collaboration with business stakeholders, targeted at stabilization of domestic automobile manufacturing and ceasing its dependence on external conditions.
