INTERNATIONAL FULL DEGREE STUDENTS
ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
FEBRUARY 2008
Arranged by the International Academic Programmes Office
Dear International Student,
Welcome to UCT! We have arranged for you an orientation programme to assist with your transition to UCT and Cape Town in general. We look forward to having you participate in all the activities we have put together to complement the programmes arranged by your faculty or department.
Through our orientation programme you will learn important information regarding immigration and the other services offered by the IAPO office. Our programme will also introduce you to support services at UCT, UCT environs and adjusting to South African culture. To facilitate your registration, international student’s pre-registration (run by IAPO) will take place each afternoon from 13h30 onwards. Please note the requirements for pre-registration in the programme.
During orientation, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance from any of IAPO’s full degree team and orientation leaders.
Best wishes from the International Full Degree (IFD) Team for a successful year ahead!
