Internal Controls Criteria BarStep-by-Step

Overview

The list of departments that is displayed when you initially access an Internal Controls report or tool is based on your Primary Appointing Department group. This group may include departments you do not need to work with. The following information describes how to change the values in the report or tool’s Criteria Bar to choosespecific departments and save those selections for future use.

Navigation

Log into Wolverine Access ()Faculty & Staff> Reporting > M-Reports.

M-Reports Landing Page
/
  1. Hover over the COMPLIANCE tab.
  2. Hover overInternal Controls Employment Reportsor Internal Controls Other Reports/Tools.
  3. Click the appropriate report.

Report Page / Use an Existing Criteria Set
/
  1. To use a saved criteria set, click the dropdown arrowfor My Criteriato view your list of saved sets.
  2. Click the name of the criteria set you want to use.
  3. Click Refresh.

Report Page / Make New Selections
/
  1. To find the appropriate Dept ID or set of Dept IDs, click the drop down arrow forSelectedDepartments.

M-Reports Dept ID List
/ If you know the deptID or the name of the department or department group,
  1. Type it in Find.
If you want to choose values from the Department list,
  1. To move down the Department list, use the vertical scroll bar.
  2. To expand any item in the list, click itsplus sign.
  3. To add items to the Selected Departments list, drag the item you want into the right-hand box by hovering your mouse over Drag and Drop Departments Here.
  4. To remove a department from the Selected Departments list, click Remove.
Note: The Remove All button above the list removes all current departments.
When you are finished selecting departments,
  1. Click Refresh.

Report Page / Save Selections as a New Criteria Set
/
  1. To save these selections for future use, click Save.

Save Criteria Window
/
  1. To use the name of an existing criteria set, click Save as an Existing Criteria.
  2. If appropriate, click the dropdown arrow and select the appropriate existing criteria set.
Note: This action overwrites your existing criteria set with the new selections.
  1. To save your selections as a new saved criteria set, click New Criteria Name and type the name in the box.
  2. If appropriate, click Make this my default to have this criteria set automatically load when you access this report or tool.
  3. Click Save.
