August 2016 / Discussion of requirements for the IAView rubric and “all about the IA” online

- Topic-must be in the form of a historically debatable question and narrowly focusedand a topic from our class!
- You might want to consider this “rough draft” as your final extended essay topic!
- Question should include events/names, dates, and specifically narrowed topic!!!
- Must be TYPED. Question, and name on pg1
- List of 5 potential sources in CORRECT bibliography format on 2nd page TYPED! Please state which TYPE of style guide you used (MLA, APA, Chicago/Turabian (footnotes)
- Teacher meets with each student
- No general encyclopedias or textbooks (this also include those online)
- No secondary sources with a copyright earlier than 1990
- At least 3 sources must be books or historical journal articles (may use online journals)
- No more than 5 websites unless more than 10 sources total
5 for research question, 5 for bibliography
