APPLICATION PACK

Intern for Designer/Maker studio (paid internship)

Thank you for your interest in the role of Intern.

I work with a wide variety of people, from galleries and art consultants to architects and builders. The kind of projects I work on vary from month to month, but include:

•Public Art Projects, which involve creating a design, fuelled by in-depth site specific research and often an element of public engagement. The design is then created, either in the studio, or with the help of outworkers and manufacturers.

•Corporate commissions, designing and making bespoke wall pieces for offices, reception areas, board rooms etc.

•Private commissions, designing and making bespoke wall pieces for individual homes.

•I’m currently expanding my practice to include different types of creative projects.

I’m therefore looking for an intern who can play a vital role in helping me to expand my small creative business.

This application pack includes:

•The job description

•An application form

•An equal opportunity monitoring form

I hope you’ll find everything you need here, however if you do have any further queries, please contact Rebecca Gouldson at :

I look forward to receiving your application

Rebecca

Please note this post is funded through the Creative Employment Programme. All interns must have been (at the time of applying for the internship) claiming Job Seekers Allowance or universal credit.
