120-122 credits. All remedial coursework must be completed prior to enrolling in DSGN 101. Majors are required to make a “C” or better in all courses except MATH 103-4. At least 45 hours are to be 300/400 level courses.
1 MATH 210 recommended for students who wish to pursue the Masters of ARCH degree.
2SCI elective. Nine hours must be selected from both biological (BIOL) and physical (CHEM, PHYS, GEOL) science. Six hours must be within the same science. If only one BIOL science is chosen, ENVS 150 may be substituted. PHYS 207, 208 recommended for students who wish to pursue the Masters of ARCH degree.
3BHSC elective. Three hours chosen from the following: ANTH 201, 202, 303, 310; PSYC 110, 210, 311, 312; SOCI 100, 241, 325, 395; GEOG 103, 201, 310, 322; POLS 110, 317, 382; CJUS 101.
4LIT elective. From ENGL 201, 202, 205, 206, 210, 212, 319, 320, 321, 333, 342, 350, 380, 381 or foreign language literature.
5HIST elective. Any HIST except 390 or 410G. 300 level recommended.
6Notebook computer required for class.
7SOAD elective. Must be from School of Architecture and Design and be 300-400 level. Choose from ARCH, DSGN, INDN or INDS. Consult with advisor. Exception: CIVE 335, 336 recommended for students who wish to pursue the Masters of ARCH degree.
8Any course.
9ENGL 365 Technical Writing may be substituted.
