JOB TITLE: AP Supervisor / SHIFT:

POSITION PURPOSE:
·  Critical role in developing and maintaining Shared Service Center for all AP related processes reporting to Sr AR/AP Manger. Will develop and lead Best practices and maintain appropriate relationships internally and externally. The role is key in driving enterprise goals and objectives of the Company while partnering with leaders and other finance team members. This role will manage a staff of six individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Develop and supervise daily workflow:
o  Invoice vouchering
o  Data input
o  Check process
o  Wires/ACH
o  Data storage
·  Maintain communication and relationship with AP/AR Manager, Global Sourcing/Purchasing, Accounting, Suppliers – others as applicable
·  Develop Best practices for payables workflow and improve process efficiencies including documentation and controls by identifying and recommending process changes while driving continual improvement
·  Manage and understand Enterprise Trade Payables and DPO
·  Develop and maintain monthly forecasts/budgets with understanding as to variances
·  Manage and Understand daily Intercompany transactions
·  Prepare reporting Commentary and related analysis as required to management, recommending opportunities for improvement
·  Other projects and ad hoc work as assigned
·  Manage/Develop AP Team, including providing coaching, setting goals, and evaluating performance
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
·  Ability to utilize Hyperion, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software as necessary
·  Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for work outcomes
·  Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
·  Ability to work in a team environment, build strong relationships and influence up and down in the organization
·  Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary to meet deadlines
·  Good organization skills, detail oriented and self-starter
·  Ability to initiate and lead process improvement and change management
QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
·  Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business related fields
·  Experience necessary in Finance, Accounting or related field with five plus years related experience
·  2-3 years of experience in a management capacity
WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
·  Ability to travel on occasion
