Unit theme: Tu día en la escuela

Context for the Integrated Performance Assessment: A group of students from Mexico, including Teresa, is coming to visit your school and attend classes next month. She would like some information about your schedule this year.
Interpretive Task: Watch the Videohistoria: El primer día de clases from Realidades 1, DVD 1, Capítulo 2A. Write down Teresa’s classes by period as she describes her schedule. What time does she have lunch? After the video, write down your classes by period and when you have lunch.
Interpersonal Task: Discuss your schedule with a friend in Spanish class. Ask each other questions to find out what classes you and your friend like and don’t like, and explain why.
Presentational Task: Send an e-mail to Teresa. Tell her what class you have each period and when you have lunch. Tell her the classes you like and don’t like, and explain why.
