Grading Scale:

Grading is now on a four point scale called standard based grading. The following are the four standards you will be graded on during each unit.

-Knowledge

*Identity of a lift or activity preformed whether verbal, kinetically, or quiz

-Movement

*warm-up and cool-down movements

-Performance

*movement of a task or skill during game play of specific movements

-Social skills

*attitude and behavior toward task, skill, and peers

Every unit will have four categories in SIS. You will start with the grade at the beginning of the unit with what your pretest skill would rank. As you build upon skill and knowledge you will then see the adjustment in SIS and your growth. A trend of each of the four standards will be taken at the end of the quarter to determine your final grade in class. This is a growing process for everyone and we will have to be patient. You will not know when we are grading each standard as you will know expectations for each day but not necessarily what will be graded upon.
