  1. All players must take the field. The outfielders should play at a reasonable distance behind the infielders.
  1. All batters and runners must wear a helmet. A parent will be the catcher in T-Ball.
  1. Coaching guidelines:

Batting: Coaches on first and third bases. Another coach pitches. A coach should also be the catcher to keep the game moving along and may help get the batter set, but may not help them swing.

Fielding: Two coaches may be in the outfield to assist in defensive plays. However, coaches MAY NOT TOUCH THE BALL (unless the ball is air-bound for a players head/ upper body). Please make sure that the child standing in the pitcher’s position is paying attention and at a safe distance preferably to one side of the coach pitching and further back than the coach.

  6. On balls in play, coaches should encourage the players to make the normal put out attempts. There are no advancements on over-throws.
  7. Bases will be 40 feet apart.
  8. Other than the above, normal baseball rules apply.
  1. Umpires will not be used. Coaches will make all calls leaning in favor of batters and runners.
