Instruction of submitting the final version of the accepted English papers

Instructions for final manuscripts

If you have received a paper acceptance email from the ICCIA2017 co-chairs, please use these author instructions to prepare your final paper.

First of all, please apply the necessary revisions on the paper according to the comments of the referees.Formatting checks are enforced in the submission phase for final manuscripts. Please allow extra time to fix any formatting errors and use PDF-eXpress to generate a compliant file.Due to IEEE technical co-sponsorship, your final paper is planned to be indexed in IEEE Xplore.After paying the payment of presenting the paper in the ICCIA2017 through the conference website,Please follow the following steps to finalize the camera-ready version of your paper:

Paper submission template

1.Apply the necessary revisions on the paper according to the comments of the referees.

2.Prepare the accepted paper according to the IEEE double-column US letter style format given also in the conference website, at “Paper Template for final submissions”. The authors affiliation are listed under the author’s name, unlike IEEE transactions. Do not add any page numbering, header or footer (other than the copyright info discussed below, if applicable).

Copyright

The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper per the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging / Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding.

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:978-1-5090-6008-5/17/$31.00 ©2017 Crown
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:978-1-5090-6008-5/17/$31.00 ©2017 European Union
  • For all other papers the copyright notice is:978-1-5090-6008-5/17/$31.00 ©2017 IEEE

Note that the case (4) is added to the template by default.You may need to insert the appropriate copyright notice in the text box placed at the bottom left on the first page.

IEEE PDF eXpress

3.Go toIEEE PDF eXpress Website.

4.Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID:42512XP). Use ‘new user’ if you haven’t used this site before, as follows:

5.Enter the necessary information.

6.Proceed to enter your account.

7.Please follow the steps to finalize the IEEE Xpress PDF converting.

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (for MSWord users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file).

8.Prepare your final manuscript according to the instructions and template provided by your conference web site. Make sure that your paper doesnotcontain any page numbers.

9.Please note that in addition to the corrections proposed by reviewers, only minor changes to the title and/or abstract may be accepted. (Changes to author list and orderare NOT allowed).

10.All such corrections should be done first before proceeding with the copyright step.

11.Go toEDAS website.

12.In EDAS, go toMy papersand click on paper’s title

13.You may be prompted to submit a copyright form first.Authors can submit copyright forms via the “Copyright form” link in theMy Paperstab, as shown below.

14.You must submit a copyright ONLYby going to the IEEE electronic copyright form (eCF).Authors can submit copyright forms via the “Copyright” link in theMy Paperstab, as shown below.

15.Then, you will be automatically directed to IEEE Copy right website.

16.Please follow the steps to finalize the IEEE copyright form.

17. After signing the copyright form, you will be redirected to EDAS. Go to My papers.

Note that any accepted paper inexcessof 6pageswill be subject to mandatory overlengthpage charges of 1.000.000 Rial Iran(ريال)for each exceeded page.

To be published in the IEEE Conference Proceeding and to be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore® and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate and the paper must be presented at the conference.
