Is the VEN compliant with the DR Program and Signal specified in OpenADR payload for appropriate DR programs?
DEVICE CONTROLINFORMATION
What is the Resource (device or software) that accepts signals from Client?
Is control of the resourcefully automated based on signals received by the client?
If no, explain why not.
Describe the programmed sequence of operations that was implemented in the controls system and the associated ADR strategies / Example:
  1. Upon receipt of the curtailment pending signal, the building will initiate a pre-cooling strategy that resets the space temperature down by 2°F to 70°F 3 hours prior to the event initiation.
  2. At event initiation, all space temperatures will increase ½°F each half hour up to a maximum of 4°F above increase, or 76°F.
  3. The system will maintain the 4°F increase from the pre-cool condition for the duration of the event.
  4. Selected decorative lighting systems will curtail power consumption at the circuit level.

Describe the sequence for controlling ‘Snap-Back’ at the end of the DR event: ONLY for DR strategies that include temperature resets or refrigeration curtailment / Example:
  1. Space temperatures will reset to normal conditions in 1°F increments every half-hour following the event to avoid snap-back.
  2. Lighting systems will remain curtailed until space temperatures return to normal.

Will the Moderate / High signals or the price period signals affect the sequence of events?
If yes, please separately describe the designed sequence of events for each mode or price. What equipment or processes will be affected? / Moderate:
High:
Price:
Has automated control of the resource been demonstrated with a test initiated from PG&E’s Test DRAS server?
