You will receive full product and industry training as well as management support to help coach you in all aspects of sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceedmonthly revenue targets from sourcing and closing new business
  • Professionally present the opportunities and value of Informa’s products and services via telephone
  • Proactively find innovative ways to win new business
  • Uncover client requirements and match their needs to our content
  • Proactively push up-sell opportunities
  • Quickly build rapport with people you have never spoken to before
  • Negotiate professionally, logically and relentlessly
  • Build and maintain a client database through accurate coding, and inputting client information
  • Meet required targets of telephone calls, time on telephone, pitches and targeted leads as set by the Sales Director

Skills Required:

  • ProvenB2B Inside sales experience
  • Degree in a scientific discipline a plus but not necessary
  • Graduates lacking commercial experience but with the right motivations and attitude considered
  • Telephone communication skills: professional etiquette, articulate, succinct
  • Strong sales skills: opening, closing, probing, listening, matching and overcoming objections
  • Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry knowledge beneficial but not required
  • Ability to assimilate complex information and convey it in simple terms
  • Positive attitude, consistent high energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong networking and lead-sourcing capabilities
  • Ability to gain enthusiastic commitment of others

This role offers a competitive base salary plus a commission structure. Commissions are uncapped. Informa offers a full benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401(k).
