University Regulation 6.1.1 – Plagiarism states:

If you believe that you have notplagiarised in your work you are entitled to request a hearing about this decision, in accordance with paragraph (3) (1) of University Regulation 6.1.1 - Plagiarism. You will then receive notice of your hearing, which will be held via telephone conference or in person, by a person nominated by the [Executive Dean/Director of Faculty/Centre].

If you request a hearing you must provide evidence that supports your position on this matter. Please be aware that you are entitled to have a support person present at the hearing. Your support person may not contribute to the hearing in any manner or form and may not be a legal practitioner.

If you choose not to appeal against this decision within 7working days of receipt of this letter, you will automatically forfeit the credit for this course (Course Title and Code). Additionally, your details will be recorded on the University’s Plagiarism Register.
