The California Transportation Commission (CTC) plays an important role to shape our transportation system as an advisor to the Legislature and California State Transportation Agency to formulate and evaluate state policies and plans for California’s transportation programs. The CTC also provides leadership and guidance to the regions for a number of different state transportation program.

AB 179 will help address these concerns by diversifying the membership of the CTC.
