The CEMMED Group was founded in 2006 in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. It aims to develop and implement modern biomedical technologies and technologies of health development and maintenance, produce and sell high-tech innovative new-generation medical devices (for restorative medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy), develop service software and provide service relating to the use of medical devices of its own manufacture.

Aleksey Petrovich Seledtsov, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences and member of the Saint-Petersburg Association of Scientists and Scholars, has been the president of the CEMMED Group since its foundation.

Scientific potential

The special-purpose scientific production association (SPA) called BIOTREM has been established within the CEMMED Group uniting a team of scientists, doctors, biologists, biophysicists and engineers specialising in medical electronics and instrumentation. Today, the scientific potential of the SPA is represented by 3 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences, 2 doctors of sciences (in medicine and engineering) and 4 candidates of sciences.

Production

The central entity in the CEMMED Group is the Triomed LLC production company which has operating production sites both in Russia and in the European Union (in Estonia). The company specialises in batch production of unique medical devices of the TrioMED series. Triomed LLC and the medical devices it manufactures have been properly registered, licensed and certified in Russia and the European Union.

Certification and authorisation documents:

- Licence no. FS 99-03-002345 for production of medical equipment issued to the Triomed company on 1 April 2011 by the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation;

- Certificate of conformity GOST R No. 0197264;

- Registration certificate No. FSR 2009/06554 issued on 28 December 2009 by the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation;

- Medical devices of the TrioMED series are completely safe for use. All devices are CE-certified (certificate confirming the compliance of medical devices with the EU requirements). The high quality of medical devices produced by Triomed LLC is confirmed by the certificate of compliance with the quality management standard for production of medical devices GOST R ISO 13485-2004 (the corresponding standard in the EU is ISO 13485:2003).

Biomedical technologies and technologies of health development and maintenance

The CEMMED Group is:

· the originator and owner of the patented innovative biomedical «BIOTREM»® technology which is a technology of creating smart radiators exerting directed therapeutic effect on certain organs and systems and adapting to the patient's body (physical therapy);

· the originator of the new medical technology “The use of the Triomed EHF-IR device for comprehensive treatment of patients suffering from joint and spine diseases and vegetative-vascular dysfunctions”: the permit for use no. FS 2011/116 was issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation on 20 May 2011;

· the originator (together with the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russian and the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences) of the medico-psychological technology of increasing stress resistance and teachability of students.

The company's own products

Triomed LLC produces a line of portable new-generation medical devices of the TRIOMED series for EHF-IR therapy: Triomed Universal with replaceable external radiators, Triomed Compact (8 therapeutic modes) and Triomed-CGI (3 therapeutic modes).

· Triomed LLC has created a unique computerised programme “Development and maintenance of health” (registration no. 2011610298 assigned by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks on 11 January 2011) which allows users on their own and in real time to test their state of health and obtain individualised recommendations on how to use medical devices of the TrioMED series for improvement, development and maintenance of health.

· The BIOTREM SPA has created and launched an Internet online video-consulting service which makes it possible for customers to have video consultations with the company’s medical professionals.

Geographical scope

The company has certified production sites in Russia and in the European Union. The CEMMED Group has its representatives in many cities of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union, the CIS countries, the EU countries (Estonia, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, Poland) and even the South America (Colombia).

Drivers behind efficiency

· Portable new-generation medical devices using the patented BIOTREM technology make it possible to factor in the real condition of the patient and automatically adjust the degree of therapeutic stimulation.
