Purpose

Provides an introduction to the professional learning program for general audiences. Includes a high-level overview of the program’s goal and objectives, and how the Innovation Configuration will provide a framework be used to promote continuous improvement.

Needs Assessment

Details how the need for the professional development program was determined. To allow for authentic progress monitoring, needs assessment must include both baseline and target data relevant to program objectives. Targets will be aligned with the District’s Strategic Plan where possible.

Examples of student data include but are not limited to performance tasks, formative assessments, standardized assessments, course enrollment, industry certification, graduation, or risk indicators. Teacher data may include workshop completion, qualifications, observations, feedback results, evaluation surveys, structured interviews, or focus groups. Data may reflect entire populations or representative samples.
