Inner Light Foundation was founded in the year 2004 by Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy. The ILF was founded with the intention of spreading the knowledge of Meditation in a simplified and friendly manner, so that it can be practiced by the common man in his daily life.

Dhyan Guru Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy is the author of the English Best seller among non-fiction “The Inner Light – Cosmic Meditation”. This book has been translated into Marathi & Malayalam. Gujarati & Hindi versions will be published very soon.

The method prescribed by Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy for Meditation is based on RELAXATION and once he personally initiates anyone, the practitioner is able to gointo deep Dhyan and come out feeling refreshed.

Dhyan is a mind-body purification method and is highly essential in current times – with hatred, terrorism, natural calamities taking its toll on the common man – whose daily life is filled with stress and tension.

Guruji Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy has devoted the major part of his life in researching the best and easy technique to do meditation and the book – “The Inner Light – Cosmic Meditation” is a product of his 3 decades of research.

Every word in the book has the meditative power within it, because it was conceived through words spoken by Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy while he was in a deep meditative state. Thus it is not a hand-written book.

Reading the book, in itself, is like doing meditation and it has an answer to every question that arises in the mind of a true seeker.

Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy got further soaked in divinity when he was blessed by darshan of Shree Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon – who appeared in front of him in broad-day light, several years after Maharaj took Samadhi.

This happened in the year 1988 and there was a silent transmission of the knowledge of meditation from Maharaj to Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy.

Shirdi Sai Baba has also been a continuous source of inspiration to Guruji Shri Kumar Krishnamoorthy’s spiritual quest.

Kumarji has also had a successful corporate life. He is the past president of Mumbai Nhava-Sheva Ship Agents Association and currently the President of a leading infrastructure company. Thus he can be described as a TAPASVI who was hidden in the corporate world.

He is an orator par-excellence in English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil & Malayalam and a highly acclaimed trainer who has initiated hundreds of men and women into Meditation at workshops both for corporate and community organizations.

So far he has conducted over 100 workshops and talks for a wide range of audience from school children, college students, cadets, corporate, BPOs, women’s’ organizations, clubs like Rotary, Giants & Senior citizen’s forum, Chamber of Commerce etc.
