Information for the guests

Disclosure (article 13 D.Lgs 196/03 “Code on the subject of personal data protection”)

International Campsite La Quercia, in its role as data controller, supplies certain information regarding the use of your personal data and that of your family necessary to management the contract and meet the requirements of the law.

The data will be handled manually, via computer and/or telephone for the following purposes:

  • Management and execution of pre-contractual obligations;
  • Identification, security and control of accesses
  • Management and execution of obligations deriving from the contract;
  • Supply of services, both principle and/or accessory, connected to the contract;
  • Execution and fulfilment of obligations required by laws, regulations and community legislation;
  • Demands of a management and operational nature, and for reliability/solvency checks;
  • Contention management;
  • For commercial and marketing reasons, by sending promotional and publicity material (via email, mail or automated tools) inherent to products and services analogous to the object view of the contract;

The collection of certain personal data is obligatory for legal and tax purposes, and refusal to supply such data will result in the impossibility of establishing a relationship with our company. Among the data you supplied on booking your stay there may be some which the Code considers “sensitive” (e.g. persons with disabilities or intolerances); such data can only be handled with your written consent, and in the absence of such consent International Campsite LA QUERCIA cannot guarantee a complete and adequate service. Your presence within the grounds of the campsite will not be revealed to third parties via the telephone, unless we receive specific authorization from you to do so.

Your personal data will not be shared and could be the object of communication:

  • with those to whom the communication is necessary in fulfilling the requirements of a law, a regulation or a community regulation;
  • Authorities for Public Security;

Those responsible for the handling of data may come into contact with your personal data as may others appointed with the handling of data, such as: front office and administration staff, and maintainers of software/hardware.

You may apply to the Privacy Service of the data controller in order to check, add to, update or rectify your data, and/or to exercise your other rights provided for by Article 7 of the Code. In particular you may at any time oppose the use of your data for the sending of publicity and promotional material.

The data controller is International Campsite LA QUERCIA, based in Località Bottona, 37017 Lazise (VR). A complete and updated list of responsabile staff is available from the privacy office of the Holder.

By “sensitive data” the Privacy Code intends “personal data which may reveal the origins of race or ethnicity, the convictions of a religious, philosophical or other nature, the political opinions, party or union membership, membership of associations or organisations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data which may reveal the state of health and sex life” of a person.(Article 4 paragraph 1 letter d) D. Lgs 196/03)

Article 7. D.Lgs 196/03 – Right of access to personal and other data

  1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence, or otherwise, of personal data appertaining to himself, even if not yet registered, and receive communication of said data in an intelligible form

2. The interested party has the right to obtain indications:

a) as to the origins of the personal data;

b) as to the purposes and methods of handling;

c) of the logic applied in the case of treatment carried out through the use of electronic tools;

d) as to the identification of the holder, of the staff responsabile and of the designated representative according to Article 5, paragraph2;

e) as to the persons or the category of persons to whom the personal data can be communicated or with whom it may come into contact through their capacity as State designated representative, appointed employee or manager.

3. The interested party has the right to obtain:

a) the update, the rectification of, or when it may be in his interest, the integration of the data;

b) the cancellation of, the transformation in anonymous form or the blocking of the handling of the data in case of violation of law, including data which need not be kept in relation to the aims for which it was collected, or for subsequent handling;

c) the attestation that the operations mentioned in a) and b) have been brought to the knowledge, even regarding their content, to those to whom the data has been communicated or shared, excepting the case in which such an accomplishment results impossible, or involves the use or means which are manifestly disproportionate regarding the protected right.

4. The interested party has the right to oppose, in full or in part:

a) for legitimate reasons, the handling of the personal data concerning himself, even if pertinent to the purpose of their collection;

b) the handling of personal data concerning himself for the ends of sending publicity material or for direct selling or for the completion of market research or for commercial communications.
