Thank you for your interest in the positions of fixed term teacherat Crawshaw School.

Crawshaw School is a full primary school (Y1-8). It has two attached satellite classes from Hamilton North Special School. The current staffing level is 16.81 teachers. The Board also employs additional teachers each year to meet specific programmes or policy requirements.

Crawshaw School is a U5, decile 1 school located in the north west of Hamilton. The school’s staffing roll is 316 children. About 85% are Maori, 10% are Pakeha, witha small number of other ethnicities. The school has a significant number of short stay pupils. Some classes can expect to have up to a third of pupils change in a year. The year 7/8 students travel each Tuesday to Hamilton Junior High School for Tech Arts. The 3 Year 6/7/8 teachers take turns to travel with them and to teach the Year 6’s left behind.

The person we are seeking must be a New Zealand Registered teacher and hold a current practising certificate.
