OFFICIALS NOMINATIONS, 2016
INFORMATION FOR PERSONS NOMINATING AS OFFICIALS
1 LATE NOMINATIONS
LATE NOMINATIONS WILL NOT BEACCEPTED
2NOMINATION FORMS
Teachers nominating for NSW Combined High Schools Official Positions (Manager, Coach, Selector, etc) will be required to complete SEPARATE NOMINATION FORMS for each position applied for.
If separate nomination forms are not forwarded then only the first position nominated for will be considered.
Teachers should also clearly indicate the position which they are applying for. No responsibility will be accepted for nominations which do not clearly specify the position applied for.
A General Nomination form is on the website under the Forms link. Please use this form if applying for 2016 positions.
For multiple nominations please Photocopy this form. Please use Black Pen, particularly if faxing. A "hard copy" is required if nomination forms are faxed.
3MANAGER, COACH LEVY (S)
Please refer to the Combined High Schools Handbook; section 2.8 FINANCE sub section (f).
4 RELIEF DAYS:
1.Relief will only be provided for the dates that appear in the calendar
2.Relief will not be provided for travel except when officials are accompanying NSWCHSSA Representative Teams.
3.Relief will only be provided for Managers and Coaches. Teachers who apply for positions other than these do so under their own volition and Teacher Relief will be their responsibility.
5 SCHOOL SPORT AUSTRALIA CHAMPIONSHIPS AND EXCHANGES
1All Team Officials will be required to attend all aspects of the Championships.
2Generally teams will be required to arrive at the HostState mid afternoon on the day before the Championships begin.
3If any intending Official is unsure of the required commitment, they should in the first instance consult the NSWCHSSA Calendar. If still unsure Teachers nominating as Officials should contact the Convener of the Sport and then the Executive Officer.
6FIRST AID ACCREDITATION:
All managers and coaches will require a first aid accreditation applicable for overnight excursions. This accreditation must be listed on the General Nomination Form, and verified by the school Principal. Staff nominating for positions will not be eligible for election without this accreditation.
7APPOINTMENTS
It is a requirement that where girls teams are selected a female official must accompany the team as part of the advertised team management.
8ALL SCHOOLS POSITIONS
1Teachers applying for All Schools positions must also complete a separate general nomination form.
2The closing date for All School teams and NSW Combined High Schools may differ. Late nominations will not be accepted.
9TEACHERS ACTING AS PLAYER MANAGERS OR RECRUITMENT OFFICERS
Teachers applying for NSWCHSSA Positions and who are acting as Player Managers or Recruitment Officers must contact Jacky Patrick (NSWCHSSA Executive Officer) on (02) 97076916 for a PLAYER MANAGER/RECRUITMENT OFFICER pro forma. This form should to be returned to the NSWCHSSA Executive Officer along with a general nomination form.

NOMINATIONS ARE CALLED FOR OFFICIALS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS INDICATED NEXT TO EACH SPORT WITH AN “X”.
