How can parents help:-

·  Ensure homework is in on time, spellings learned and times tables practised. Listen and discuss reading regularly.

·  It is essential that you take the time to talk about the Big Write subject. It really does make a difference to the work your child produces independently.

·  Make sure the children come to school with the correct equipment – encourage their independence. PE KIT

·  Encourage children to find out about the term’s topics through library visits, visiting places of interest supporting research about the topic.

·  Donate a book/children’s magazine appropriate for reading during quiet reading sessions.
