Beduin tent performance conditions

The beduin tent has a daily program between 5.45p.m. (sundays 4.00p.m.) and 9.30p.m. Concerts have a duration of 45 or 60 minutes. Between the concerts we have 20minutes break for setting down and up. Each band will have 10 minutes before and after showtime for getting on stage, line-check, encore and to leave the stage. There is no possibility for longer sound-checks beforehand. For a fluent handling we ask you to leave the stage before selling CD's or talking to the audience.

Unfortunately our festival has got some neighbours that feel disturbed and we do have some restrictions. We will have fun anyway but we do have some selection criteria:

- The whole music program is Style Living room concert - unplugged acoustic sets are preferred. We have to keep the sound level at maximum 80db in the tent!

- its all about self composed music maximum 2 covers per set!

- small groups (also because of the small stage)

- no drum sets (possible: Cajon, Djembe, Davoul, Conga, Handpan & small percussion)

- Sets with Acoustic Guitar are preferred (E-Guitar only via DI)

- all instruments will be a little bit amplified via DI-Box/microphones. No Amps allowed!

- String players should bring their own micro phones.

- Brass instruments just with sordino / not amplified.

- please do not animate the audience to sing a loud chorus!

The beduin tent offers:

- an extraordinary, comfy atmosphere with oriental carpets, cushions, sheeshas, Chai- & Coffee bar

- direct contact to the audience

- stage about 3x4 meter, plain and well lighted

- Active PA system, Mixer, 20 channels, 6 Aux, 4 sub groups + 1 Sound technician mixing

- 220V plug

- Stative, microphones according to contract

You get:

- The complete money of the hat collection after your concert. (varied until now 50-800€)

- one warm meal per musician, soft drinks, coffee and tea in the Festival Backstage, as well as 3 coupons for other drinks.

- the possibility to sell your own merchandise material the day of your concert at our festival merchandise stand/info point (Not from the stage!).

- Lodging and breakfast at Festival Home Quarter antagon Halle – If needed.

We don't pay travel expenses and no honorary! We don't provide instruments!
