Infant adoption program of Victoria – information and training sessions 2

The Infant Adoption Program holds information sessions and training programs regularly throughout the year.

The Infant Adoption Information sessions are the best place to get answers to your questions about adoption, and aim to help you decide if it could be right for you. They provide an overall view about adoption in Victoria, including the legal situation.

Once you have attended an Information session, the next step is to attend a Training program. The Training program will provide more detailed information about what adoption in Victoria is like today. It will help prepare you for the challenges of bringing an adopted child into your family. All this information, at each stage, will help you decide whether you are ready, interested or able to adopt an infant in Victoria.
