Industry Engagement and Business Development Support
Our role
The Industry Engagement and Business Development Support teams work collaboratively to maximise the benefits that stem from partnering with industry. The teams are located within the Global Business and Engagement Unit (link to new GBE unit page). The Industry Engagement team is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with RMIT’s strategic industry partners within Australia and globally. The Business Development Support team is responsible for assisting the university with tenders, proposals and contract development. Business opportunities are responded to by matching the needs of industry with the capabilities and capacity of the university, with the aim of increasing RMIT’s commercial income, and maximising opportunities for industry involvement in learning and teaching and research.
