JOB INFORMATION

All positions have the following attributes:

  • 52 week contract (typically July 2018 – July2019)
  • £13,500 (plus £3,000 London Weighting Allowance ifapplicable)
  • 4 weeks holiday + bankholidays

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • 12 month placementposition
  • Based in Shoreditch,London
  • Reports to HRDirector

JOB PURPOSE

  • To support McDonald’s Corporation to achieve its businessobjectives
  • Support the International Lead Markets, High Growth Markets and EU FoundationalMarkets
  • Support Employee Relations, People Systems, Rewards and Talent acquisition, Global people strategy andprojects

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES

  • EmployeeRelations

-Develop relationships with key stakeholders and departmentmanagers

-Work with HR Managers across the markets and across different timezones

-Provide advice and guidance to managers/employees on a variety of ER/HR topics asrequired

-Assist in the administration element of all employeerelations

-Support the new starterprocess

-Support the online filing system for employeedata

-GeneralsupportfunctionforallERrelatedcustomerservice,including:flexibleworking/maternity/paternity/ discipline/ performance management/ compensationpackages

-Maintain confidentiality of any document and deal with sensitiveissues

  • HR ProjectWork

-To work as a team member to assist in the delivery of the Global People strategy, People goals andTargets.

-Provideprimarysupportfortheon-goingHRprojectsworkingwiththePeopleSystems,Rewards,TalentandHR Directors as well as supporting the Chief PeopleOfficer.

-Manage the 2018 Industrial Placementscheme.

-To support event planning for internal HR meetings, Awards andCompetitions

  • Other

-To act as an initial point of contact for both internal and externalcallers

-Provide administrative support to the Global People Team asrequired

-Liaise with internal HR Professionals in order to stay current and up-to-date with changing HR practices and policies
