Technical Data Sheet
Indu-Tek Synthetic HT 2
A premium quality synthetic high temperature, low residue grease, for ovens and other high temperature applications
Synthetic HT 2 is a lithiumcomplex thickened grease with a synthetic base oil designed for high temperature applications up to 220°c making it ideal for stoving and paint baking oven bearings.Synthetic HT 2 is also suitable for all elevated temperature applications, as it leaves no residues, therefore reducing wear and increasing the life of the bearing. It is also suitable for low temperatures down to -50°c.
Applications: -
Industrial and Mining: All types of bearings at extreme high temperatures or high speeds
Features and Benefits: -
Excellent Thermal stabilityProlongs lubrication intervals, extending component life
Corrosion resistantProtects against condensation from changing temperatures
No carbon residuesless cleaning required, lower downtime
Clean evaporationeliminates bearing seizure due to carbon deposits, reduced maintenance costs
EP and PTFE additivesreduces friction and extends component life
Method of Application: -
Synthetic HT 2can be applied by hand, or by using a standard grease gun, or via a central lubricating system designed for and capable of pumping a NLGI No.2 grease.
As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application.
