Camera
The impact-resistant camera consists of a charged-coupled device (CCD) camera board, lens (fixed-focal-length or varifocal auto iris), enclosure and polycarbonate dome. The camera interface is available with either internal unshielded twisted pair (UTP) or coaxial video interface. The camera enclosure is available for indoor and outdoor applications. The camera, lens and enclosure are fully assembled and tested by the manufacturer. The video system supports NTSC, EIA, PAL or CCIR signal format.
The Camera
The camera is a 1/3" solid-state monochrome/color video camera using an interline transfer, CCD image sensor in one of NTSC / EIA or PAL / CCIR signal formats. The horizontal resolution is a minimum 410 TV lines for standard monochrome, 570 for high resolution monochrome, 350 for standard color and 480 for high resolution color. The electronic iris lens has a speed of 1/60 (1/50)-1/100,000 sec. The camera offers a composite video output providing 1.0V peak-to-peak into either 100ohms impedance for UTP or 75ohms for coax. The camera module is easy to install and remove and allows unrestricted access to the inside of the enclosure during installation. The camera position has a unique 3D-position adjustment allowing for maximum lens rotation for any angle of view required.
Electrical
The input voltage range is 17-32VAC and 11-16VDC with a single power supply board: one set of power connections with auto sensing for 24VAC or 12VDC is provided. Built-in surge suppression meets a 1.5kW transient specification. Input power consumption is less than 3.5W (Color) and 2.5W (B&W). V-Phase and Iris level controls are potentiometers accessible from the front of the camera. All cameras are provided with a phase adjustment via potentiometer for AC line lock operation. The line lock adjustable range of the vertical phase is +/-
150° for NTSC (EIA) or 135° for PAL (CCIR). The camera switches automatically to internal sync mode when 12VDC is applied.
Enclosure
The enclosure and polycarbonate dome can withstand a high impact force. The polycarbonate dome is available in clear and half tint versions. Enclosure comes standard with clear tint with dome insert and half tint is optional. The half tint version has a maximum light loss no greater than 1.0 f-stop. The dome consists of 3.2" (82mm) diameter, 0.125" (3.2mm) thickness that has high optical clarity. The dome is UV- stabilized, suitable for use in areas exposed to sunlight and is hard coated for scratch resistance. The enclosure meets Nema 4X and IP66X and is designed for indoor and outdoor all weather use. The enclosure is fabricated from polycarbonate material. The dimensions of the camera do not exceed 4.57"(W) x 3.26”(H) or 6.08”(L) or 116mm x 82.8mm x 154.5mm . The weight of the camera, including both the camera and the lens, is no more than 1.5lbs (0.68 kg).

Wiring
The camera has a cable exit on the bottom of the enclosure and also has a ¾" NPT standard conduit fitting on the back end. A male pigtail BNC connector for video is provided for connecting video. The cable length supplied is 6” (152mm).

The camera is fully assembled by the manufacturer with one of the following interchangeable lenses: from 2.9-16mm and varifocal auto iris options:

Packaging
The integrated camera and lens are packaged separately for shipment. This allows installation of the enclosure first, leaving the camera components free of dust and dirt.
The ambient operating temperature is -4F to +122°F (-20C to +50C).
