Index of Articles & Features in the SBCS Newsletter

Vol. 1, No. 1 (Fall 1994) – Vol. 20, No.1 (Spring-Summer 2013)

Compiled by Tom DiNapoli

This index lists articles alphabetically by title. In those cases where the article begins with “a,” “an,” or “the,” I’ve listed the article under the (next) main word. For example “The Little Brown Church in the Vale” would be listed under “L.”

If the title begins with an arabic numeral I’ve listed the article under the number’s initial letter if spelled out. For example the article “10 More Notabuildings” would be listed under the letter “T” for “ten”. The article “1999 SBCS Convention Set for Chicago” would be found under the letter “N” for “nineteen” and so forth.

The index lists the Volume, Issue Number, and Year for each entry, but omits page references. When the author’s name accompanies the article, it is cited in parentheses.

Occasionally I’ve included a short reference in brackets to indicate what an article discusses. For example “Parent Company of Collector’s Favorite Sold” [USF&G].

The index also includes selective [Letters to the Editor], especially when they feature a particular building and/or were published individually with a title.

Finally, book reviews are also included in brackets with the reviewer’s name in parentheses.
